Motorola has announced that its Moto X Play will get Android Nougat update. And Now the android nougat has finally started to roll out for the Moto x Style. The company rolled out the Nougat update bundled with some other major software updates.
Motorola Moto X Style Is Finally Getting Android Nougat Update In India
Lenovo-Motorola has finally started rolling out the Android nougat update for the 2015 version of Moto X Style. We all know that Android Nougat is just a month away from its first anniversary and the latest launched Android O is just around the corner for its launch, the update of nougat for the moto-x-style has taken a too much long time to get and OTA update for the device. Better late than never, its good to see a nougat update on the 2015 version as we will be seeing more improvement in the performance and its working speed and additionally it will bring up few new installation of some apps. The update is expected to roll up shortly as it was rolled out on Brazil this weekend.
The Nougat update brings new features like the Split-Screen mode, Quick Settings menu, improved Doze mode, Revamped Notifications, Data Saver mode and more. As said, in the update we also see the latest security patch for bug fixes and performance improvement. The latest software adds more security to your device against all vulnerabilities and other harmful activities.
Well, the update is being rolled out over-the-air (OTA) only but in several different phases. Therefore, it may take few days or even few weeks to reach all Moto X Style users. If you do not see the update arriving for your handset, you may check manually by going on the to Settings tab> click on About Device > and then just Tap on the System updates. Please note, that you need to make sure you are connected to a strong internet connection which is stable so that it doesn’t provide and error during downloading of the update.
