Mozilla’s New Firefox Quantum Browser Is Ridiculously Fast!

If we look around Mozilla Foundation is working really hard to stand up in the competition. Recently, Mozilla Foundation announced the new version of Firefox browser that goes by the name Firefox Quantum.

The new version of Firefox browser is available in beta version and it promises to be twice as fast as Firefox 2016. Not only these, the Firefox Quantum also consumes 30% less RAM than its competitor, Google Chrome.

To prove the good work around the tool, Mozilla made a detailed post about the performance of Firefox Quantum Beta compared to its main competitors. In speed tests, Firefox Quantum averaged 66 points against 51 on Chrome 61 and 32 on Firefox 52.

So, what makes Firefox Quantum so fast? Well, Mozilla had explained “Firefox has historically run mostly on just one CPU core, but Firefox Quantum takes advantage of multiple CPU cores in today’s desktop and mobile devices much more effectively. This improved utilization of your computer’s hardware makes Firefox Quantum dramatically faster.”

Apart from all of these, Firefox Quantum offers a new and more modern layout with graphic details, new buttons, and more vivid contrast. The new interface is called Photon.

Firefox Quantum will be released for all users on November 14, but anyone who can not wait to get there can now go using the beta, which is available for desktops, Android and iOS.
