We all know that HMD Global officially introduced the Nokia 6 in China, and it was a massive hit. However, now it seems that soon Nokia will launch a global variant of Nokia 6, which mean that soon it is going to be available outside of China.
Nokia To Launch Global Variant Of The Nokia 6
HMD Global announced the first Nokia smartphone that is powered by Android a few days ago. The first Android device from Nokia is Nokia 6 which is only launched in the Chinese market and is only available via JD.com.
Nokia has already broken few records with their latest Nokia 6, the mid-range smartphone from Nokia is already a sensation. Nokia 6 got 2,50,000 registration in less than 24 hours of being launched and was sold out in under one minute during the first flash sale.
Well, HMD global hasn’t said anything regarding how many Nokia 6 units were sold in the first sale. However, the good news is Nokia 6 is likely to go on sale outside China very soon.
Hence, Nokia 6 had decided to move to another country that is Philippines previous month. Lazada, which is one of the Major retailers in the Phillippines will sell Nokia 6 in the Philippines. However, there is no news regarding when the smartphone will be available in India.
However, as we reported recently that Nokia 6 could be grabbed via eBay India at the premium price of Rs 32,440. Well, the price is almost double than the price of the smartphone in China. Nokia hasn’t yet shared anything regarding when the smartphone will be available to Indian users.
But, now it seems that all wait is over, as a global variant of the new Nokia 6 has been recently certified in Taiwan, which is bearing the model number “TA-1003”, as it is the same model number that also passed the Bluetooth certification a few days ago.
For now, it was revealed that this unit supports LTE, CDMA, and GSM as well which simply makes it a global variant. However, if we talk about the specs, then it will feature the same specs as the Chinese variant features.

Moreover, we can simply expect to see the global variant of Nokia 6 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 alongside the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and a resurrected iconic Nokia 3310 as well.
