New bug has been found in iOS 9.3.1 in the Apple’ flagship phones, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Earlier, iOS devices were hit by crashing issue with iOS 9.3.1 update. Now new flaw came in no time after Apple rolled out fix for the crashing issue, and this allows anyone to access contacts, photos on iPhone 6s and 6s Plus without unlocking the device.

Now iOS 9.3.1 Bug Allows Anyone To See iPhone’s Photos and Contacts By Using Siri

This flaw works with the help of Siri to get into the personal information of the device. This flaw can be checked by opening Siri and asking it to search Twitter. It will reveal data like contacts, email address or mobile number. 3D Touch feature bring up a menu which permits the users to use that data.

When clicked on “Add to Existing Contact” option within that menu, it permits users to head to the contacts and browse through information present there. Users can also change the photo of a particular person, it also allows access to the photo library which lets people to see any photo.

Why is it present only in iPhone 6s and 6s Plus ?

The answer of this question is quite simple, 3D Touch which is present only in iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, it can work only on these flagship phones. However, it seems that it is working only on 9.3.1 which is the current latest version of iOS. This happens because most users allow Siri to access to the Twitter Account and the other apps.

This serious bug can be fixed by restricting access to certain apps. It can be done by going to Settings –> Twitter –> Siri’s Access, revoke the access to the app and the Siri can be restricted from accessing photos by heading to the Privacy Settings and then Photos.

Earlier, unusual bug in iOS 9.3 was crashing iPhones when users opened links on Safari Browser or in Notes, Messages or other apps.
