OnePlus may feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC and 150W wired fast charging in the upcoming flagship, which may name ‘OnePlus Ace‘.

Recently, OnePlus announced its launch event where it will introduce two new smartphones and one TWS buds. According to leaks, the company might introduce the OnePlus 10R, OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, and Nord Buds at April 28’s event.

The new leaks also reveal that OnePlus is setting up a brand new series of smartphones to launch this year, called the OnePlus Ace series.

The latest leaks are coming from Digital Chat Station, which claimed some of the main specifications of the foremost device of the OnePlus Ace Series.

Camera

According to Digital ChatStation, OnePlus Ace might feature Sony IMX766 sensor as its primary camera. Sony IMX766 is a 50MP sensor with OIS support. OnePlus also uses it in Nord 2, so there is a high probability of using this lens again.

Chipset

MediaTek Dimensity 8100 is the latest 5G chip from MediaTek, well-known for boosting gaming, and has Octa-core with up to 2.85GHz performance.

As tipster says, OnePlus will feature 150W wired fast charging support, which is powerful. Only Oppo has launched 150W SuperVOOC Charging so OnePlus will be the second. Another tipster from Weibo named WhyLab suggests that OnePlus Ace will have a 4,500mAh battery.

Display

According to WhyLab from Weibo, OnePlus Ace features a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a centered hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera, which is also shown in the above image. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem this OnePlus device will have an iconic alert slider.

Pricing

WhyLab suggests that the OnePlus Ace could launch at a starting price of CNY 2,599 (roughly $408) in China.

Currently, Oneplus officially didn’t reveal any details about the device, but there’s a surety that OnePlus to launch the Ace Series device this year.
