Reliance Jio Testing Advanced LTE Technology To Fix Slow Internet Issues

Who doesn’t want the free internet? Of course, we all want, Indians will always be at the top in availing any free internet facility. Jio, which is also known as Reliance Jio and officially as Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited has already given its users free unlimited 4G data for 90 days

Reliance Jio promises that the Data transfer speed of their 4G network will reach up to 135Mbps. However, previous reports from Ookla clearly show that Reliance Jio internet speed is down significantly compared to how it was earlier.

So, there is a good news for Reliance Jio users because Jio is reportedly testing a more advanced set of LTE technology to boost its India 4G network and already planned to roll out LTE-A network in some major cities soon.

Reliance Jio is right now testing carrier aggregation on pan-India scale to boost its network speed and reliability. Telecomtalk (source close to the company) quoted “Initially Jio can cover all major cities and towns where the speeds have come down”

Now you all might be thinking what is carrier aggregation? Well, it’s a procedure that uses more than one carrier to increase the bandwidth of the transmission. This technique allows more users to connect simultaneously without affecting network speed.

As reported by India today “To deploy this solution, Jio would need to adhere to a more advanced set of standards requiring cutting edge transmission technology. The whole upgrade is termed LTE Advanced, which is also quite self explanatory.”

So, when the upgrade is done. Users will experience better download speed of up to 175mbps which is almost five times faster than what the current infrastructure offers. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment section below.
