Safari Has More Security Flaws Than All Other Major Browsers Combined

It is very normal that if there are security problems in web browsers. As all these tools always remain in constant contact with the Internet and so exposed to all manner of attack and problems.

A recent assessment of the tech giant Google’s Project Zero showed that Safari, the tech giant Apple’s web browser, has more security flaws than all of its competitors combined.

It was Ivan Fratric, a security researcher for the tech giant Google’s Project Zero, who revealed the number of recent glitches found in major browsers we can use.

For these tests, Ivan Fratric turned to the Domato application, which automatically tests various security parameters in browsers. After 100,000,000 interactions, browser crashes have surfaced.

The numbers are not generally worrisome, but the values obtained by Safari will require special attention from the tech giant Apple. From the tests it was discovered that the tech giant Google’s web browser Chrome has 2 security vulnerabilities, Firefox and Internet Explorer have 4, Edge 6 and, finally, Safari has 17.

However, there are some points that must be considered and which have been pointed out by Ivan Fratric himself. Given the scale of the tests, no real machines were used and all browsers were uploaded to the tech giant Google Cloud, which handled processing. This led to Safari not running on the tech giant Apple hardware.

To confirm the flaws, the specific tests, which reveal the problems, were repeated in a recent version of Safari and on a Mac, again being tested.

Given the increasing interest of the attackers on the tech giant Apple platforms, it is worrying the number of flaws that have now appeared in Safari. The tech giant Apple should urgently address these shortcomings, otherwise, it will put its users at risk.
