  1. Thank you for these tips. I was trying to show the percentage by clicking on the battery image itself, then Battery Preferences, but the option to show percentage wasn’t there, so I figured they did away with the option. I wouldn’t have thought to look in Dock & Menu preferences.

    They should just put the option in both places. This kind of poor usability is exactly why it’s been many years since I’ve bought an Apple product.
