The Chinese company ProTruly has presented at the fair in Barcelona a very weird smartphone that has embedded diamonds simply to differentiate itself from the rest. Thanks to its 360-camera designed specifically to record videos of virtual reality in a simple way.
This Smartphone Has Embedded Diamonds And A 360-Degree Camera
In this Mobile World Congress 2017, there has been a bit of everything. Of course, the most popular manufacturers have presented their new bets. We have been able to meet highly anticipated devices such as the LG G6, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, or the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus.
But, the Finnish company Nokia has also grabbed many looks, which this year returns with Android phones such as Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 along with the new version of the iconic Nokia 3310. But as I mentioned, in this edition of the MWC there has been everything.
We have seen other proposals, such as Oppo’s innovative optical zoom system, or advances in 5G networks. But this Chinese smartphone is one of those rarities that are worth knowing.
ProTruly Darling, the first phone to create virtual reality photos and videos
The Chinese company Darling has presented at the fair in Barcelona this smartphone that seeks to differentiate itself from the rest thanks to its 360-camera designed specifically to record videos of virtual reality in a simple way.
The Protruly Darling VR is the first phone that allows the creation of this type of content, and for this, it has a 360-degree camera with 26 Mp and specialized applications. Of course, with this camera, we forget the conventional photos and videos. The camera sticks out front and back and includes a module with 23.8 mm wide-angle lenses.
To be able to work properly, this smartphone mounts a Helio X20 10-core processor which is clocked at 2.5 GHz along with powerful graphics, the Mali T880. In addition, it has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage, which can be extended up to 128 GB by microSD card. The screen is a 5.5-inch capacitive LCD IPS with Full HD resolution.

This Chinese manufacturer has not neglected the materials, in addition to presenting the first phone prepared to create virtual reality content, has also opted for premium materials. That is why the ProTruly Darling has a body finished in gold, diamonds, and leather (they are not very noticeable in hand, but each one has its tastes).
The design of this smartphone is longer and narrower than we see in most current models. It is very conditioned by its camera of 360 degrees, since it excels enough, unlike what we find in other smartphones. Although the firm has tried to give it luxury touches, the truth is that this phone basically stands out for the theme of virtual reality.
As for the prices, the ProTruly Darling will go on sale for $1,300 for the gold and diamond version, plus an infrared thermostat that measures the temperature through the camera. There will also be a version without so many frills, which will cost 600 dollars. It will be sold on the Internet, but first, it will hit the Chinese market, and later it will be released on the rest.
