If you remember, a few days ago, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro has received the Android 10 Beta 2 update. Now, the official stable version of Android 10, also known as OxygenOS 10.0 is rolling out to these devices.

A recent report confirms that OnePlus 7T is going to be the first most to come with Android 10 out of the box.

According to the OnePlus Forum, both OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro will receive the OxygenOS 10.0 update which is based on Android 10. But since the OTA update has a staged rollout, it will take a few days or weeks to reach every user.

How To Update OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro To Android 10

Well, there are three ways to install the new OxygenOS 10 update. So, if you are too impatient to wait for OnePlus servers to push the OTA update, you can install the latest update by following the methods given below.

#1 Install Through The Built-in Android Updater

The first best option to get the OxygenOS 10.0 update is through the OTA. If your phone is running on older like OxygenOS 9, you need to wait for version 10 to roll out via OTA update. However, this process can take a few days or even weeks, depending on the success of the previously staged rollout.

#2 Update Via Oxygen Updater

This method is for those who don’t want to wait for days or weeks to get the latest update. Few OnePlus 7 users have reported that the OxygenOS 10 is available for download on Oxygen Updater Android app. What’s more exciting is that the OxygenOS 10 is now available for all OnePlus users through Oxygen Updater.

#3 Manual Method

The last option requires lots of manual work and its little bit risky. In this method, users need to download the OxygenOS 10 stable Zip files from this link and then install it on the device. For detailed instructions on how to install zip files, one can follow the directions outlined by the OnePlus.

Important:

Well, if your phone is running on Android 10 Beta 2, then you will be asked to factory reset your smartphone. Without a factory data reset, the OxygenOS 10 won’t install. So, make sure to properly back up your device before you attempt to install OxygenOS 10.
