With smartphones older than 5 years still receiving updates, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi ended support for the smartphones from the Redmi family.

As the company, of course, Xiaomi itself has posted in its forums that up to seven of its smartphones will no longer receive software support, which means that there will be no MIUI 11 or any global Beta in the future for those specific 7 smartphones.
The complete list of smartphones of the well-known Chinese brand Xiaomi that are left without support for system updates includes 7 famous members of the Redmi family, and here they are mentioned below:-

- Xiaomi Redmi Note 4
- Xiaomi Redmi 3S
- Xiaomi Redmi 3X
- Xiaomi Redmi 4
- Xiaomi Redmi 4A
- Xiaomi Redmi Pro
As the manager of the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, the Xiaomi community said that these are the only smartphones that will lose support, and there are no more smartphones that will run out of updates.
While the announcement also appeared on the forums in India, which means that it is likely that all variants of these Xiaomi Redmi smartphones will stop receiving future firmware updates.
However, this only means that the users of these smartphones will not be able to update their devices anymore at the operating system level, and not only that, they will not receive new functions.
