Xiaomi recently launched its flagship phone, Mi5 this month and now it seems that Xiaomi is focusing on budget phones. Chinese smartphone giant released new smartphone, Redmi 3 Pro in China. It came after Redmi 3 which was unveiled this year.
Xiaomi Releases Redmi 3 Pro with Fingerprint Scanner, 3GB Ram
Chinese Mobile Giant, Xiaomi on Tuesday released a new variant of its budget smartphone Redmi 3 which it calls as Redmi 3 Pro which is having 3GB Ram and more inbuilt storage than its predecessor. Moreover, it is having fingerprint scanner on its rear side as seen in Redmi Note 3.
This variant is having a price tag of 899 Yuan ($138) and is expected to become available in China next month with its flash sale on April 6. It’s predecessor Redmi 3 had a price tag of CNY 699 when it was first launched. However, there is no official confirmation about availability of this smartphone in other smartphone markets. This smartphone will be available in Gold, Silver and Grey colors respectively.
The new Redmi 3 Pro is having 5 inch HD [720×1280 pixels] display and is powered by core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor. It packs 3GB Ram, 32GB inbuilt memory [expandable upto 128GB]. Its predecessor was having 2GB Ram and 16GB inbuilt memory. It is having massive 4100 mAh non-removable battery which is among prime feature of this smartphone.
It sports 13MP rear facing camera and 5MP front facing camera and also supports full HD recording. It supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and microUSB 2.0.
