Recently, the tech giant Google introduced a complete design change for the web browser version of YouTube. YouTube v13.01 Will Have Dark Theme, Incognito Mode & More
The well-known giant video platform which is owned by the tech giant Google, of course, I am talking about the YouTube is currently testing a beta version of ‘Creator Studio’, the backstage of the platform where those who upload videos can see statistics of their channel, for example.
Recently they introduced a complete design change for the web browser version. Now what they prepared are changes for the mobile version and among them, probably the most interesting is the incognito mode, which will follow the guidelines in the same way already available in Google Chrome, the tech giant Google’s most used and popular web browser.
In the code of the YouTube application for Android, we have already seen some of the upcoming features and novelties that the service will have in its version for Android and iOS, that is, its mobile apps.
One of them is the incognito mode, which can be easily guessed that it will follow the steps of the incognito mode of Google Chrome. That means, basically, having the ability to watch videos on YouTube without leaving any kind of trace. If someone picks up your mobile, for example, there will not be a history in it of what you have seen using the incognito mode.
Upcoming news on YouTube: incognito mode, dark mode and much more
It is already available in the web version, so it was only a matter of time before the dark mode reached Android and iOS mobile devices. Till to the date, as was the case before on computers, users have had to resort to alternative apps that allow viewing the video platform in white-print streaming on a black background, as well as other changes. However, we already know that the Mountain View company, of course, the tech giant Google is finally finalizing the details for the launch of a dark mode on YouTube for Android and iOS mobile phones.
Finally, another of the changes that have seen this code of the YouTube APK file has to do with the arrival of new gestures. It is not yet known how exactly it will work, but we will have a ‘swipe to avoid ads’.
Right now, and after a few seconds, YouTube allows us to skip ads by clicking on the corresponding button. But considering this mention in its code, it seems that the way to skip the ads will change lightly, with a new gesture.
