Well, we all are still thinking what will be the next version Android. Android’s Senior vice president have hinted that the next version of Android would be named Android “O” and it might be called Oreo.

The next version of the Android operating system is scheduled to debut at the company’s I/O 2017 developer conference that is about to held this year on May. Well, previous reports suggested that Android’s upcoming version will include some “Smart Feature”.

A Source has approached 9to5Google, and claimed that the next Android version would feature “new notifications”. However, what it means is still a source of speculation.

The reports claimed that the upcoming Android version will have “Picture-in-Picture” mode that’s right now limited to Android TV devices which are running Android Nougat. Well, this feature could enable users to watch videos in floating windows on their handset.

Well, the reports even claimed that Android o would get the feature that iPhone users have enjoyed since the first iPhone. “Badge Notifications On App Icons”. Well, with this feature users can see how many notifications the app received without opening it.

The same report also suggests a “Smart Text Selection Floating Toolbar” feature. The details about this feature still to be explored. However, it might involve using Google Assistant identify the text within any document for copying purposes.

Previous reports claimed that Android O might have the feature of turning places into Hyperlinks in SMS if anyone sent you his/her address in SMS, then Android would recognize it and open the address in Google Maps. Android will even introduce new gesture feature in its upcoming version.
