#1 Method: Using the Inbuilt Feature of Youtube
This is one of the easiest ways that you can use to enable the dark mods on your Youtube. The only thing you need is to open the Youtube website right on your Chrome, Mozilla or Safari browser. And there you will see the three dots sign along with the Sign in button. Simply click on it and choose the option Dark mode option there. By default this is turned off you can simply click on ON to enable this and that’s it you are done, Now you will see the dark mode will be enabled on your Youtube website.
#2 Using the Console
This is quite a tricky method and will take some time to implement.
- First of all, you need to open Youtube on your browser on your Mac and Window PC.
- First of all, in your Windows browsers, you need to press ctrl + shift + I, and in the Mac Safari press Ctrl + Option + I and this will open the inspect element on your browser. Here you will be doing little tweaks there so that the dark theme can be accessed in it.
- Now click on the console part there. And there copy and paste

- Now, copy and paste “document.cookie=”VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=fPQ4jCL6EiE” this line besides the blue arrow and hit Enter.
- Now you just need to refresh the page that you can either do by directly clicking om the refresh button or by pressing the refresh button. That’s it you are done, now you will see that the dark theme will be enabled on youtube.
