Facebook is now testing the display ads in Messenger by providing text display ads. It is expected that by the end of this month a few the of users will start seeing ads in the Messenger app’s home tab and after that, it will be rolled out to other as well with time to time. From the last couple of years, messaging apps are used more than the social networks. Yes! that’s true if we see in our daily life we use our Facebook messenger app much more that the normal Facebook app. So implementing ads in Messenger will be more useful for the company in many different aspects.
According to the source, the Display advertisement will be in the inbox showing up on the screen right on the messaging chat box. The Advertisement size will depend on the dimensions of the display of the phone of user and number of chats you are having on your screen.
Well, we have seen that Facebook in 2016 also tested sponsored messages where messages sent to different users and that were also sponsored. Coming back to the display ads, these ads will be shown between chat threads as shown in the photo above but there’s a good thing that it won’t be displayed too much once it will be just when the chat opens, these leaves the space of spamming. We have to wait and see that how good these ads for Facebook in revenue and what does it helps us by any means. According to the sources, Facebook will roll out display ads by the end of this month so for the being, we all just have to wait for the roll out of Facebook ads.
Facebook, back in few months told us that they would launch video ads service just like what youtube does, simple banner ads would be displayed on videos what people are watching and they could earn revenue from it. But till now there’s no sign of launching of that feature.
We have to wait and see that how good these ads for Facebook in revenue and what does it helps us by any means. According to the sources, Facebook will roll out display ads by the end of this month so for the being, we all just have to wait for the roll out of Facebook ads.
