All the security forces in Belgium have been warned about the possible arrival of the device in Europe that fully looks like an iPhone which is actually a gun.
This Foldable Gun Looks Like iPhone Puts Europol On Alert
Recently, all the security forces in Belgium have been warned about the possible arrival of the so-called device “iPhone Gun” or “iPhone pistol” in Europe, a device that appears to be a smartphone but is actually a 9mm double-barrel gun.
Authorities of that country have been informed of the possible entry of this weapon at its borders, according to the reports from reliable sources. As this new weapon is actually manufactured by the American company Ideal Conceal and its value is $395.
Here is what the company behind the legal gun stated “In today’s day and age, carrying a concealed pistol has become a necessity. But what if you didn’t have to conceal?”
“Smartphones are everywhere, so your new pistol will easily blend in with today’s environment. In its locked position it will be virtually undetectable because it hides in plain sight”.
“We have not found any such weapon in Belgium,” a Belgian federal police spokesman told on Friday, which did not confirm whether the country’s security services had been alerted to the possible arrival of the pistol in its territory or not.
Moreover, the head of the Ideal Conceal, Kirk Kjellberg, said that he actually got the idea for the transforming phone into a weapon just after a child saw his gun in a restaurant and simply got scared.
However, the local newspaper known as Dernière Heure said an alert sent to police in Belgium police read: “To the eye, nothing can distinguish it from a mobile telephone. Most people possess a smartphone, meaning that it can pass completely overlooked”.
It means that this gun which actually look like an iPhone or a smartphone can not be detected if the gun is not in open state.
