Here’s The DxOMark Score Of OnePlus 6

The DxOMark published results that made the analysis of the latest smartphone of the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus, of course, the OnePlus 6. With two cameras in the rear, that look similar to the iPhone X, the test revealed the score of 96 points.

The Chinese smartphones, especially those manufactured under the name OnePlus, deliver excellent value for money, generous firepower and a very refined look – even though the rear window has some flaws. The camera was and continues to be the Achilles’ heel of the brand, but this time the device managed to figure among the top ten smartphones when it comes to the camera.

The device comes with two lenses on the back, one being 16 megapixels with f/1.7 aperture and the second with 20 megapixels, with the same aperture and without the optical stabilization that receives the main, but with the ability to crop the image and, thus creating digital zoom with fewer negative points so – almost in the same way that the Lumia 1020 did.

In well-lit environments, the OnePlus 6 has the ability to record colors, details and everything else the scene displays to the user, with clever use of the HDR in times of high contrast. The negative points in this scenario lie in the standard blue color of the sky, a rather flashy flare and some noise here and there.

In the video, the result was inferior, with 87 points. As the OnePlus 6 managed to work well with colors, autofocus, and exposure. What lowered the score was the level of detail that is preserved under different lighting conditions, exaggerated sharpening in some moments and more aggressive post-processing.

Even with scoring below the maximum, which is 109 points for the Huawei P20 Pro, the OnePlus 6 and its 96 points gets three positions below the iPhone X, which costs almost double what is charged by the 6GB version of RAM of OnePlus 6.

Today, at the time of publication of this article, the DxOMark score of top ten devices looks like this:-

  • Huawei P20 Pro: 109 points
