Rumors claim that Apple is planning to shift from an LCD panel to an OLED panel in the upcoming iPhone 8. The 10th anniversary iPhone is expected to feature an edge-to-edge OLED display with glass back. The phone will have 5.15 inch curved OLED display. Well, OLED displays are better than LCD because they offer better colors, contrast ratio, and improved viewing angles while consuming less power compared to LCDs.

We recently shared an article on iPhone 8 camera. iPhone 8 is about to feature a “revolutionary” new front-facing camera and infrared sensor module which can scan the 3D environment in front of it. This new technology is fueled by PrimeSense algorithms, which Apple acquired in the year 2013. This new front-facing 3D camera technology will let users take selfies in 3D, and it will be used in next-generation mobile games where players can place their 3D head on video game character’s body.
