Last-Minute Galaxy S9 & S9+ Features Revealed

We are less than two weeks away from the official presentation of the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ that will take place on February 25 in Barcelona on the occasion of the MWC, and new leaks continue to appear about the new features that the South Korean giant Samsung’s new flagships could present.

This information now points to new features of the Samsung Galaxy S9, among which is Bixby, the controversial personal assistant that the South Korean giant Samsung seems to remain committed to maintaining despite the first impressions among users were not exactly positive.

However, it seems that the South Korean giant Samsung will try to reverse this situation by providing the renewed content assistant to make it more obvious to users its usefulness. At the same time, the same information indicates that the Galaxy S9 Duo can finally arrive with Dolby Surround AKG speakers.

Dolby Surround Dual Speakers and Bixby Vision Enhancements

According to this information, unconfirmed, this new version of Bixby implemented in the Galaxy S9 can provide real-time interpretation through Bixby Vision. The function will have the technology of the tech giant Google’s interpretation system, which already provides Bixby with the possibility of interpreting languages, although at the moment it still does not allow to do it in real time.

The augmented reality features of Bixby Vision could also have been improved. As it is currently able to identify establishments and reference points that are in front of us and relatively close to our location.

This function is currently based on Foursquare, from which it obtains the relevant information, but it seems that in this new version it would be the tech giant Google that would directly provide these contents.

This should allow the assistant to recognize many more places and thus be able to provide more relevant information, given the huge amount of data that the tech giant Google manages and available to them.

In terms of audio, specifically the quality of the speakers, in recent times the South Korean giant Samsung has been overtaken by some of its rivals, including the tech giant Apple. So finally it could have stepped forward by incorporating the dual Dolby Surround speakers from AKG to its flagship smartphones, of course, Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+.

You have to be cautious, since these new features of the Samsung Galaxy S9 filtered, obviously, are not confirmed. However, they are not options that might surprise us to see them finally on the phones the day of their presentation.

The South Korean giant Samsung will release the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ later this month and that’s when all the speculation about these devices will finally be over.
