The trends that are created

It was in the summer of 2016 that the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, of course, Lenovo announced that it would be preparing its folding smartphones, something where several seem to be working.

Curved and flexible smartphones seem to have been in trends that did not avenge the market. LG’s G Flex has died out, as the South Korean giant Samsung’s Edge has lost such a sharp curve, but now the bet really seems to be on the fold.

These are concepts that seem too futuristic and for which there does not seem to be any basis for their use. Put it on the arm, like a giant bracelet, make them sturdier? Adapt them to professions linked to health, science? These are plausible scenarios but the concept is anyway questionable for the general public.

A strange form of smartphone

The folding future of the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, of course, Lenovo has now emerged in a short video on Twitter, to be used in a functional way, in the style of a normal smartphone, but all folded.

What is strange in this video and in this concept of the smartphone is its form that seems a setback of everything we are currently living at the level of smartphones.

The new Lenovo folding smartphone comes with fairly wide margins, especially at the bottom and top, probably with the “non-folding” elements that make up a smartphone, like the battery, for example.

It will be at the end of this year, beginning of the next, when we will see the official arrival of these models to the market, but its success remains questionable. So, what is your opinion? What do you think about this? Simply share all your views and thoughts in the comment section below.
