Migrating user data between operating systems has never been a simple and quick process to do. There are dedicated tools, but they usually have gaps and failures, which simply prevent their use completely.

However, now to eliminate some of this problem the tech giant Apple seems to be preparing a substantial improvement for the tech giant Microsoft’s well-known and most used computer operating system, of course, Windows, yes, I am talking about the Windows Migration Assistant to macOS Mojave, preparing it to bring in much more user data, even from apps not associated with the tech giant Microsoft.

Windows Migration Assistant is the tech giant Apple’s bet to make it more easier to transfer data between the tech giant Microsoft’s well-known and most used computer operating system, of course, Windows and the well-known operating system of the tech giant Apple, of course, MacOS.

If in previous versions was still a tool with some limitations, able to bring the files of well-identified sites of users’ accounts, the new version will achieve many more features.

The version that is now available in the latest test version of macOS Mojave will soon be available to everyone and will achieve much more and even in services and applications, something that did not exist before.

According to what is revealed, the new trial version of Windows Migration Assistant will now be able to download e-mail from Outlook and other clients, as well as documents, files, and other user information.

The entire process will be similar to what happened before, but its capabilities are extended and areas where it was not thought to be of interest to the tech giant Apple.

This may be a direct bet by the tech giant Apple to captivate Windows 10 users, who now can make life easier in data migration processes and weighing the moment of decision to change the operating system.

For now, this new version of Windows Migration Assistant of the macOS Mojave is still in testing phase, hence, it is expected to be made available in September, as is normal to happen. This opens the door to much simpler and more direct data migration processes for the macOS, without involving the user.
