For those who don’t know, PUBG Mobile is a battle royale game where you need to fight against 99 other players in an island. The game is high on visuals and its pretty addictive as well. However, the game runs only on capable smartphones. To play PUBG Mobile without any lag, users need to have a smartphone with at least 4GB of RAM.
So, PUBG Mobile is a huge let down for everyone who holds an entry-level smartphone. Since more than half of the smartphone users in India have an entry-level smartphone, the company behind PUBG Mobile has launched the lighter version of the game known as PUBG Mobile Lite.
Well, PUBG Mobile Lite has been built using the Unreal Engine 4, and it’s optimized to run on low-end smartphones. The game requires less than 500 MB of storage space to install, and it runs on a smartphone having less than 2GB of RAM.
The game is right now available for Android smartphones on the Google Play Store. You won’t believe it, but within the first three days of its launch, PUBG Mobile Lite has hit 10 million downloads in India. So, with such records, PUBG Mobile Lite has become the top free game in the subcontinent’s Google Play Store free game charts.
