The woman has already filed a lawsuit against the well-known South Korean giant Samsung and the woman is now currently waiting for the court decision.

The news was actually advanced by the well-known media network, the New York Post and reveals that Diane Chung, a real estate brokerage, sued the South Korean giant Samsung simply because of its brand new Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

According to the woman, she was using the smartphone in the elevator and realized that it was very hot. As a precaution, the woman stopped using her smartphone and put it in her purse. After a few seconds, she heard a small noise and noticed that smoke was coming out of her purse.

According to the woman’s report, after realizing that the equipment was supposed to be burning, she put the purse on the floor and when trying to take the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, it ended up burning her fingers.

In a state of panic, the woman tried to stop the elevator and asked for help. The flagship smartphone of the South Korean giant Samsung, Galaxy Note 9 only stopped burning when someone took a cloth, grabbed the Galaxy Note 9 and put it in a bucket of water.

A new nightmare for Samsung?

For those who accompanied the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, certainly remember the statements of CEO Koh Dong-jin, who said that the battery of this new flagship, of course, Galaxy Note 9 was quite safe and users would not have to worry anymore (with batteries).

“The battery in the Galaxy Note 9 is safer than ever. Users do not have to worry about the batteries anymore”.

Kate Beaumont, product director, also noted that there is a security check on Galaxy Note 9 batteries and these “absolutely” did not catch fire.
