WhatsApp Testing 'Large Link Preview' Feature for Android & iOS

According to the latest reports by WABetaInfo, the instant messaging app Whatsapp is adding drawing tools to the Android app. In the future update, the app will get new pencils to draw on images and videos.

Currently, there is a single pencil to draw in the app, but in the future, two new pencils will be added, one thinner and the other thicker.

Also, there are reports that the company is working on a blur image tool that might be added in the future. However, these new features were seen in the Whatsapp Android beta update. These features are still under development, and beta testers might get their hands on them soon.

A report by WABetaInfo claims that the instant messaging app is bringing new color to its Windows and macOS apps with the beta version for desktop 2.2201.2.0 update.

This new color scheme will be visible in the dark theme, and the chat bubbles might be greener than the existing color.

Moreover, there are color changes to other elements of the app in the update. Now, the chat bar and background color have a blue tinge color.

There are reports that Whatsapp iOS will get new notification settings where they can manage which notification they want to receive for group or individual chats. Also, Whatsapp is bringing Profile Photo to notifications when a new message arrives.

One of the latest features is Whatsapp Voice Message Player, which allows the users to continue to listen to their voice messages even if they open another chat. With this, the voice messages will be played in the background so that users listen to it directly from the chats screen of the app.
