YouTube Go Is Finally Here! Now Watch YouTube Videos Offline

Who doesn’t like to spend time watching YouTube videos? Of course, every video addict will say yes! YouTube is the reason why we run out of the data much faster than we assumed. Right now millions of users watch videos on YouTube because it is one of the popular entertainment means for users.

Well, in September 2016, the vice president of product management at YouTube shared some thoughts on a new version of the YouTube app that is intended to show content offline beforehand, which can download videos in low to high quality.

Finally, Youtube Go was announced and tested in 15 cities in India. YouTube Go works with little or no connectivity whatsoever. YouTube had launched the app on Play store but in beta phase.

With the help of YouTube Go, users can save their favorite videos to their devices internal storage or SD card for offline viewing. Right now, YouTube Go offers users to save their videos to a device in two resolution “Basic and Standard” Quality. The Basic means 144p and Standard means 360p

The app doesn’t have the option to save HD videos because it is expected to consume fewer data and designed for regions with slow internet speed and devices having small storage capacities.

You can even share the saved videos with your friends via Bluetooth directly from the app itself. The app is tiny in size it just needs 8.5MB of your internal storage and can download many MBs of videos.
