We all know very well that Huawei is one of the Chinese brands that previously opted to adopt the Face ID just like the iPhone X. However, now according to the latest reports, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei’s upcoming flagship smartphone, Huawei P11 will feature a “Notch” on the top like Apple iPhone X.
Huawei P11 To Copy iPhone X!
With the iPhone X, the tech giant Apple brought to the market some innovations. The most talked about, and possibly most important, is the Face ID. The technology it encompasses is unique.
The market immediately prepared to respond to Face ID and the first competitor seems to be coming. The well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei has now announced that it will be able to do better than Face ID very soon.
It was at the end of the presentation of the latest element of the Honor family, the V10, that the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Huawei unveiled a novelty that could soon be a reality in their smartphones.
According to the Chinese brand, its proposal for facial recognition is being created and will be able to be better than the tech giant Apple has in Face ID. Its technology combines the use of infrared with a projector to create a 3D image of the user’s face. The difference is in the 300,000 points you can capture in 10 seconds. This point value is 10 times higher than what the tech giant Apple has in Face ID.
However, now apart from the Face ID technology the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei wants to now copy the “Notch” of the tech giant Apple’s iPhone X.
We all know very well that the iPhone X has been one of the newest phones of the year. Not only at the level of specifications and power, but also in terms of design. After years embracing quite generous frames, the tech giant Apple has left them aside and has launched its first device with all screen, which had to resort to a black strip or so-called “Notch” to gather all the sensors.
We already saw a few weeks ago how the Chinese company Huawei already began to work on its own Animojis, as we told earlier, but this time Huawei that could re-imitate the signature of the tech giant Apple and endow its new high-end with this characteristic and this could be the future Huawei P11.
As reported by the XDA Developers forum, the information comes from different files and firmware documents, so do not expect any specific render. What we have been able to know is that this notch would stay at an intermediate level, shorter than the iPhone X but larger than the Essential Phone.
In addition, in another system file reference is made to the now famous notch. This file, called “ro.config.hw_notch_size”, would serve to move the content of the screen around the notch, so we really cannot configure anything. As if that were not enough, the screen ratio of this device would also be something different from what we are used to.
The panel would be 6.01 inches, with a resolution of 2160 × 1080 pixels, but the start animation, the loading screen and the rest of the windows of the system are adapted for a resolution of 2244 × 1080 pixels. This difference between resolutions could be motivated by the existence of the notch at the top.
Both for the date we are in and which normally presents their phones, specifications and software, it seems that this would be the Huawei P11 and not another device in which to test how the market reacts. We will see how Huawei finally behaves, although we would like it to retain its own identity and design, as so far it has been so beneficial to it.
