Sonny Dickson has always been known for leaking news and pictures of the iPhone and its parts. Now, he has tweeted a size comparison photo comparing the size of the Apple Watch Pro, Apple Watch Series 7, and upcoming Series 8 watches.
According to the photos he shared, the Apple Watch Pro will have a 49mm case size, larger than what rumors have claimed so far – 47mm and 48mm.
New Leak Shows How big the Apple Watch Pro is
For size comparison, Sonny Dickson placed the 49mm Apple Watch Pro case next to the cases of smaller Apple Series 7 and upcoming Apple Series 8 smartwatches. The size comparison confirms that Apple Watch Pro will have the largest display in the Apple Watch’s history.

Sonny Dickson’s tweet shows images of the protective cases in two colors – one is transparent, and the second is black. Both of the protective cases look good. The photo shows the protective cases of the Apple Watch Pro, which is 49mm in size, kept next to cases for the smaller Series 7 and upcoming series 8 watches (41/45mm).
While the size comparison is interesting, such massive change can invite some problems. This is because 49mm would be too large for some, and Apple might not be able to increase the display size of its Apple Watch Pro series in the future.
Another interesting thing to note here is that the new size comparison images from Sonny Dickson closely follow the leaked CAD drawings we saw a few days ago. The images of purported cases for the 49mm Apple Watch Pro confirms a new button on the left.
