Recently, the Chinese manufacturer Sugar has created a new smartphone dubbed as Sugar S11 Blockchain Creation that can mine the Ethereum fork known as Ethereum Fog. Ethereum Fog, released on January 1 uses Fog technology to create decentralized computer systems by using the same consensus algorithm as Ethereum.

We are right now living in a digital world where adding the word ‘Blockchain’ to anything is halfway to popularity. Although, Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies, in general, have suffered a massive drop in recent days. However, this doesn’t stop the trend of cryptocurrencies.

Recently, the Chinese manufacturer Sugar has created a new smartphone dubbed as Sugar S11 Blockchain Creation that can mine the Ethereum fork known as Ethereum Fog.

Ethereum Fog, released on January 1 uses Fog technology to create decentralized computer systems by using the same consensus algorithm as Ethereum. Well, Sugar S11 Blockchain Edition is an Android smartphone that was specially developed to be a hardware wallet but it can also mine Ehereum Fog.

According to the reports from Tenna, Sugar S11 Blockchain Creation Edition is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor which is clocked at 1.8 GHz. The smartphone features 6.99inch 1080p display and it boasts 4GB of RAM along with 128GB internal storage.

The smartphone features dual camera setup on the front and back and it is backed up by 3060mAh battery. However, looking at the above specification clearly suggests that the phone’s hardware is not powerful enough to mine cryptocurrency efficiently.

The Sugar S11 Blockchain Creation Editon also carries a hefty price tag of $620 and the company will include 10,000 units on its first lot. The launch date of the phone is still unknown.
