Reliance Jio had introduced Prime membership for all existing users. Users just need to pay Rs 99, to subscribe to a Prime membership. After getting the Prime membership, users can enjoy 4G data at very low price of something around Rs 10 per GB.
Reliance Jio had also introduced some mind-blowing plans if you subscribe to the Prime membership. At Rs 303, users will get 28GB of free 4G data along with free calls, SMS. At Rs 499, users will get 56GB of free 4G data.
However, the question is if you are not a Prime member, what will happen to your SIM? What if you missed the chance to subscribe to the Prime membership before March 31? Well, in this article we will know what will happen to your Jio if we don’t subscribe Prime membership.
#1 Your SIM or number will be disconnected if you don’t choose any monthly plans after subscribing to Prime membership. If you are already a subscriber of Prime membership, then you need to select a plan before March 31 to enjoy the services or else you will get only incoming voice calls and SMS for given period.
#2 Reliance Jio’s terms and conditions say that if you don’t recharge before an expiration of any plans, you will only receive calls and SMS. Users will get 90 days to recharge their number or else the number will be disconnected.
#3 If you don’t want to use Prime membership, then there are few other offers provided by Reliance Jio. They are expensive compared to Jio Prime plans. Those plans can be taken even after March 31.
#4 According to TRAI, if you don’t subscribe to Jio Prime or any other non-prime plans, then your number will be disconnected after the particular period.
Well, the services won’t be free anymore. However, the plans introduced by Reliance Jio are decent. Few other operators are providing fantastic offers. So, it’s time to think and choose the best plan.
